A major college football program is going with a new starting quarterback for its bowl game.

Wisconsin has been starting junior Alex Hornibrook behind center for the entire 2018 season, but the Badgers will be going with someone else for its postseason contest.

Jack Coan will apparently be starting for Wisconsin against Miami.

"Number 17 is off redshirt, he will be starting in the Pinstripe Bowl game on dec 27 at Yankee Stadium. Lets go!!!" his father announced.

Wisconsin is set to play Miami on Thursday, Dec. 27.

Kickoff is set for 5:15 p.m. E.T.

The game will be on ESPN.
