Check out this cool 2018 college football recruiting map.

The 2018 recruiting cycle is just about done. National Signing Day was this past week and basically all of the top prospects are signed.

Georgia had the No. class in the country, supplanting Alabama atop the rankings. Ohio State was a close No. 2.

Which programs recruited best in each state? SB Nation has the answer.

SB Nation compiled a map that shows which CFB program recruited the best in each state. It wasn't a completely scientific exercise, though.

"It’s not a scientific exercise. I could’ve just counted up total points on the 247Sports Composite, but that would discount clearly better recruiters who recruit out of state. (For instance, Ohio State wouldn’t get the nod in Ohio, which would be silly.)

So if Team A got four of the top five players in State X, that’s convincing enough," SB Nation explains.

Here's the full map, from SB Nation:

The surprises? There aren't too many, but Auburn out-recruited Alabama in-state while N.C. State out-recruited UNC.

The full team rankings for the 2018 class can be seen here.
