Maria Taylor is one of the rising stars in the college football reporting world.
The ESPN reporter, who's entering her second season as the reporter for College GameDay, will be sticking around at the Worldwide Leader for a while longer, too.
ESPN announced this morning that it has inked Taylor to a new contract.
“I have been blessed with so many opportunities to grow and evolve as a broadcaster and learn from so many incredible people,” said Taylor. “I am excited to start the next chapter of my career with my ESPN family, and to continue working with the players, coaches, and programs that I am incredibly passionate about.” Taylor enters her second season on College GameDay Built by The Home Depot this year, and will continue as a rotating host on College Football Live, in addition to contributing to other ESPN shows, including Get Up!, SportsCenter, as well as NBA Draft and NBA Combine coverage. “Maria’s level of preparation, knowledge, passion and enthusiasm is what makes her standout in everything she does,” said Lee Fitting, ESPN vice president of production. “Her growth at the network is a testament to her versatility both on the sideline and as a host in the studio, shaping her into the ultimate modern day broadcaster.”
Taylor has been with ESPN since 2014.
