Mark Dantonio Asked If He Ever Wanted To Be Ohio State's Head Coach

Mark Dantonio speaks to reporters.

Here's what Michigan State's head coach said.

Mark Dantonio's college football coaching career began in the Buckeye State.

Michigan State's head coach was a graduate assistant at Ohio in 1980. He was later a GA at Ohio State and spent three seasons as the Buckeyes' defensive coordinator under Jim Tressel.

Today, with MSU a couple of days away from its showdown at Ohio State, Dantonio was asked if he ever dreamt of being the Buckeyes' head coach.

His answer is good.

Ohio State could certainly do a lot worse than Mark Dantonio at the head coaching position.

The Buckeyes and the Spartans are set to kick off at noon on FOX on Saturday.
