Mark May Has A Message For Urban Meyer

Mark May talks before being laid off by ESPN.

Former ESPN analyst Mark May is perhaps the biggest Ohio State hater on the planet, so you'd imagine that he's enjoying seeing the team's fans in agony as they wait to hear Urban Meyer's fate.

Last Friday, after Meyer issued a statement, admitting he did know about the 2015 Zach Smith allegations. May took to Twitter with a bit of advice for Meyer - telling him to "stop digging" when he's in a hole.

May's tweet came a few minutes after Meyer's statement. It's unclear if he still feels that Meyer's defense is weak.

May used to be one of ESPN's most-featured college football analysts. He was laid off over a year ago when the network was cutting costs.

May, for whatever reason, has always been a bit biased when it comes to Ohio State-related topics. To that end, it's surprising he hasn't tweeted more about what's going on in Columbus right now.

As for the investigation, Ohio State put together a committee to help determine Meyer's fate. Their decision is expected to come within the nex two weeks.

Ohio State opens up with Oregon State on September. Fans are still waiting to see just who will be coaching the team when it takes the field.
