The former Ohio State cornerback might have supplanted his top 10 pick status.
Marshon Lattimore might have just secured his spot in the NFL Draft's top 10 (or five) with his 40-yard dash time at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis.
The former Ohio State cornerback ran an unofficial 4.36 on his first attempt at the 40-yard dash at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Pretty, pretty good.
Here's video of his run.
NFL.com's draft profile of Lattimore says he has Pro Bowl potential. After watching him run the 40, it's tough to imagine him dropping out of the top 10.
Here's the NFL's description of him:
Average-sized, one-year starter with explosive athleticism and a loaded tool box. He has the feet, hips and agility to be a lockdown cornerback and the ball skills to make teams pay for looking in his direction. His lack of experience could show up early, but he has the confidence and competitive nature that should help him overcome those issues. He has the ability to become a Pro Bowl cornerback early in his career.
