Four-star cornerback Max Williams is starting to make decisions on upcoming visits.

Max Williams is a blue-chip cornerback in the class of 2019. The Gardena, California native stars for Junipero Serra High School.

247Sports ranks him No. 92 overall, per the site's composite rankings. He is the No. 7 cornerback and No. 14 player in California.

He recently spoke to the recruiting site about his plans for upcoming visits. Two national powers, Notre Dame and Oklahoma, will be getting visits, he says.

"I know I'm going to visit Oklahoma and Notre Dame," Williams said. "I'm just trying to work out the dates and the best time. I'm talking with coach Cooks at OU and we're trying to decide if it's better to visit in the spring or during the fall for an actual game.

He is also weighing whether to make the trip out to South Bend for a game in the fall or if he should get there this Spring first.

The Sooners and Fighting Irish are among the 11 schools that Williams listed as his top options last month. They are joined by Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Oregon, Stanford, UCLA, USC, and Utah.

Two Pac-12 powers on that list, Oregon and USC, are also heavily involved. Williams discussed his relationship with the Oregon staff, as well as USC's efforts to keep him home in Southern California.

"USC is pushing hard as well and telling me they really want to keep me home. They're recruiting me hard and said they're going to keep pushing for me and want to keep the Serra to USC pipeline going. I'm going to take my time with my decision and probably commit at the end of the year and then sign in the Early Signing Period in December."

USC is considered the early favorite by those who have voted in 247's crystal ball thus far. All seven predictions have tabbed the Trojans as his eventual choice.

Williams holds 27 total reported offers so far. The Arizona schools, Michigan, Nebraska, South Carolina, and Washington State are among the other programs that have offered him.
