Mel Kiper Mentions Top College Coach For Browns Job

Mel Kiper gives NFL Draft analysis on ESPN.

The Cleveland Browns are in search of a new head coach after GM John Dorsey fired Hue Jackson earlier this season. Jackson won just three games during his two and a half seasons in charge of the Browns and the organization decided to make a change.

So what's next for Cleveland? With a young star rookie quarterback and a solid roster to play with, the Browns could be looking for an offensive mind to keep pace with the Sean McVay's of the NFL.

Dorsey might have to turn to the college ranks in order to find what he's looking for.

NFL draft expert Mel Kiper Jr. has just the guy: Lincoln Riley. That's right, the current head coach of the Oklahoma Sooners.

Riley's name has popped up for a few NFL head coaching vacancies, and even one job that isn't open yet - the Dallas Cowboys.

Although Riley said he doesn't want to leave Oklahoma at this time, this might actually be the perfect time to leave and make the jump to the professional level.
