The former top recruit has reportedly made an unexpected decision.
Miami four-star quarterback Jack Allison was reportedly going to transfer and take the JUCO route for the 2017 season. It was reported this week that he had decided on Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Apparently, something else will be happening.
Allison has reportedly decided to commit to West Virginia.
Mike Casazza of the Charleston Gazette-Mail reports that Allen is bound for the Mountaineers.
Allison, a 6-foot-5 pro-style quarterback, was the No. 8 quarterback recruit in the country coming out of high school in 2016. He opted to transfer out of the Hurricanes' program after falling behind in the team's starting quarterback race.
The former ACC quarterback will join for Florida quarterback Will Grier at West Virginia.
