Miami Grad Transfer Sunny Odogwu Picks UCLA Over Michigan

Sunny Odogwu has made his decision.

Sunny Odogwu, a former starter on the Miami offensive line, is headed to the Pac-12. According to Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports, Odogwu chose UCLA over Michigan.

Odogwu, a massive 6-foot-8, 325-pound lineman, has 14 career starts during his three-year Miami career. The Nigeria native finished his bachelor's degree in human resource management, and is working towards a master's in international administration, according to the Palm Beach Post. He announced his decision to transfer back in late May.

“I have enjoyed my four years at the University of Miami,” Odogwu said in a statement released by UM. “I look forward to continuing my playing career elsewhere, but I will always cherish the relationships I’ve built with my teammates, coaches and professors here at ‘the U.’”

Odogwu had a "great" visit with the Wolverines this spring, before heading to UCLA for an official visit with the Bruins. UCLA won out in the end, and landed the top grad transfer on the board.
