Miami vs. West Virginia preview:

The Miami Hurricanes had quite the rollercoaster of a season. After storming out of the gates to a 4-0 start, the Canes dropped four in a row to even out at .500. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, the flip switched back on and they won four more to end at 8-4. The Hurricanes boast a balanced offense led by quarterback Brad Kaaya and a sound running game. The defense does its part too, giving up less than 19 points a game.

The West Virginia Mountaineers only lost to teams from Oklahoma this year, falling to both Oklahoma State and Oklahoma. Similarly to the Canes, the Mountaineers have a balanced attack with a talented quarterback at the helm in Skyler Howard. Meanwhile, the defense is able to force turnovers at an incredible rate.

Miami vs. West Virginia prediction:

This game is going to be close the entire way because these teams are so similar, and the winner will probably be the team that has the ball last. With that in mind, I think the X-factor has to be Miami quarterback Brad Kaaya, who will tip the scales in favor of Miami with his crisp offensive play.
