On Thursday afternoon, veteran college football reporter Bruce Feldman sent the college football world into a frenzy. All it required was a tweet.

Feldman put out a tweet saying that "some interesting QB news in college football coming up in a bit." That's it. That's all Feldman revealed in his tweet sent around 6:00 p.m. ET.

Now, being the rational type, college football fans across the country responded with various question about their favorite quarterbacks, but Michigan and Alabama fans responded the most.

With Shea Patterson still in pursuit of eligibility for the 2018 season and Jalen Hurts' potential for a transfer after getting benched in the national title game, the two team's fans are left wondering about the future of their respective quarterbacks.

As for what Feldman's tweet actually means? Well, we'll have to wait and see, but judging by the response from college football fans across the country, several potential storylines are in play.

Will Patterson play in 2018 for the Wolverines? Will Jalen Hurts remain with the Crimson Tide if he doesn't win the starting job in spring practice? So many questions, so few answers.
