Michigan's athletic department announced some tragic news less than an hour before kickoff against Ohio State this morning.

The Wolverines announced that the director of operations for the Michigan band had suffered a medical emergency this morning just before departing for the game.

Maggie St. Clair, the Wolverines' director of operations for the band, has passed away.

"We are devastated to share the sad news Maggie St. Clair's passing. Maggie was the director of operations for Michigan Band. She suffered a medical emergency this a.m. just before departing for the Ohio State game. Her husband Jerry, son Craig & family are in our hearts today," Michigan announced.

Our thoughts are with the St. Clair's at this tough time.

May Maggie rest in peace.
