The weather gods are already impacting this Saturday's slate of games. Michigan's contest against Michigan State has been delayed as lightning made an appearance in the East Lansing area.

The all-Big Ten affair got off to a nice start, but serious weather conditions in the area forced both teams to leave the field. Officials instituted a 30-minute weather delay from the times of the most-recent lightning strike.

More lightning, rain, and possibly even snow is in the forecast in East Lansing this afternoon.

No start time has been given just yet.

Michigan and Michigan State have displayed their stellar defenses thus far in the game. With over three quarters of play left, anything can happen.

The rivalry between these two programs was on display early when Wolverines star Devin Bush ruffled the feathers of a few Spartans in pregame action.

We'll keep you posted with the latest from East Lansing.

Stay tuned.
