It wouldn't be a major rivalry game without some intense pre-game festivities on the field. Apparently, we have that at Ohio State-Michigan.

Wolverines' players did some damage at the Spartan Stadium turf before their game against Michigan State a couple of weeks ago.

According to a report, one Michigan player attempted to do the same at Ohio State today.

"Just saw a Michigan player attempting to scuff up the Block O in the middle of the field, so that's still a thing apparently," Ohio State reporter Tony Gerdeman tweeted.

Thankfully, the Ohio Stadium turf appears to be in pretty great shape and won't be damaged by a player's cleats.

Ohio State and Michigan are set to kick off at noon E.T.

The game will be on FOX.
