Michigan vs. Iowa preview:

Michigan is one of the best teams in the country. The Wolverines remain undefeated on the season after last week's 59-3 blowout victory over Maryland. The only thing to worry about here is that Michigan may be looking ahead a few weeks for its matchup against Ohio State to end the regular season. Iowa is a tough opponent, especially on its home turf at night. Jim Harbaugh better make sure his team is focused on the task at hand.

Iowa is coming off of a blowout loss at the hands of the Penn State Nittany Lions. Penn State dominated from the opening whistle to the tune of 41-14, putting the Hawkeyes at 5-4 on the season. Iowa has lost its last two games, scoring just 23 points in both of those losses combined. If the Hawkeyes have any hope of beating Michigan, they will need to put up some major points.

The Wolverines and Hawkeyes have played 59 times in history, with the Wolverines holding a 41-14-4 advantage.

Michigan vs. Iowa prediction:

People will say this is a trap game. Iowa is at home. Night game. Michigan might be looking ahead to its matchup against Ohio State.

Not so fast! Jim Harbaugh is too good of a coach to let his team think beyond this game. The Wolverines will be ready for a showdown, and that's not good news for Iowa.
