Michigan vs. Maryland preview:

Maryland opened the season with four straight wins over Howard, Florida International, Central Florida, and Purdue. The terrapins have struggled in their last four games however, as they got crushed by Penn State and Minnesota, before winning a close contest over a terrible Michigan State team and eventually losing to Indiana.

Michigan remains undefeated on the season, and now comes in No. 3 in the College Football Playoff rankings. The Wolverines are coming off of a close matchup against rival Michigan State who is on a down year. The Wolverines have not been tested much this season, and Maryland doesn't offer much of a challenge to Michigan. Michigan's toughest test will come at the end of the year when they face Ohio State in the final game of the regular season.

The Terrapins and Wolverines have played five times in history, with the Wolverines holding a 4-1 advantage.

Michigan vs. Maryland prediction:

Michigan is good. Very good. Maryland is decent, but not nearly on the same ballpark as the Wolverines.

The Terrapins are in trouble. The Wolverines have one of the best defenses in the country, and has one of the best scoring offenses in the country. That is a bad combination for Maryland, who will get blown out in this one.
