Washington State's head coach says he's not planning on going to the Huskers.
When Nebraska announced it had hired Washington State athletic director Bill Moos, many started to wonder if Cougars' head football coach Mike Leach would follow him.
Leach and Moos have a great relationship and the Huskers will probably be searching for a Mike Riley replacement after this season.
The Washington State head coach denied this on Monday night, though.
"I don't have any plan to do that," he told reporters, according to Stefanie Loh of the Seattle Times. "They already have a head coach there, he's a pretty good one. Mike Riley."
Leach did speak highly of his relationship with Moos.
"He's the best AD I've ever even met," he said.
Leach, 56, has been Washington State's head coach since 2012, compiling a 35-35 record.
Nebraska 3-4 this season following a 9-4 year in 2016.
