The Buckeyes' running back had a pretty good response.

The NFL released today its list of combine invites. More than 300 players have been invited to the scouting event in Indianapolis.

Unsurprisingly, Alabama led the way among all colleges. The Crimson Tide have 14 players invited to take part.

Ohio State isn't far behind, though. The Buckeyes are No. 2 in the country in invites.

The full top five goes like this:

  1. Alabama - 14
  2. Ohio State -11
  3. Georgia, LSU - 10
  4. FSU, Miami - 9
  5. Penn State - 8

One of Ohio State's players who could have left early for the NFL, Mike Weber, has responded to Alabama leading the way. He quote tweeted a tweet from Fox Sports and then said the following.

"Naw we just stayed in school."

Weber is one of several Ohio State underclassmen who decided to return for another season, putting the NFL on hold. Johnnie Dixon, Parris Campbell and Dre’Mont Jones also announced they're coming back.
