One four-star recruit could be taking his talents to South Bend or Austin. Nana Osafo-Mensah announced his top two today, as well as a potential decision date.

On Thursday, one of the best defensive ends in the country announced the list of nearly 30 programs he received offers from was narrowed down to the final two destinations.

Nana Osafo-Mensah tweeted that Notre Dame and Texas are his top two choices. The 6-4, 227-pounder from the class of 2019 is expected to commit on May 19th.

The Nana Osafo-Mensah top schools announcement came via Twitter.

Osafo-Mensah is one of the top weak-side defensive ends in the country, ranked seventh by 247Sports, which also has the Fort Worth native out of Nolan Catholic just outside the top 100 overall prospects.

Per the 247Sports Crystal Ball, Notre Dame has the edge to land the recruit, with the Irish currently owning 57-percent of the votes, while the Longhorns have 43-percent of the picks. The site is also reporting that Osafo-Mensah will visit Norte Dame this weekend one last time before making his official visit to Texas in early May.
