NC State vs. Louisville preview:

NC State is coming off of their best game of the season. Although they lost the game, the Wolfpack nearly upset No. 3 Clemson, and probably should have won that game. With a chance to win in the final seconds, NC State's kicker, Kyle Bambard, missed what would have been a walk-off field goal. Instead, the Wolfpack lost 24-17 in overtime after Clemson scored a touchdown on its first possession and NC State failed to get into the end zone.

Louisville is one of the best teams in the country, and had it not been for a 42-36 loss to Clemson, the Cardinals would be college football playoff bound through the first 8 weeks of the season. As it stands now, the Cardinals are 5-1 on the season, and need a little help to get a spot in the playoff.

NC State and Louisville have played six times in history, with the Cardinals owning a 5-1 advantage.

NC State vs. Louisville prediction:

Louisville is averaging 52.3 points per game on offense behind Heisman frontrunner Lamar Jackson. The Cardinals average over 300 yards rushing and 300 yards passing per game, and boast on of the best defenses in the country.

That being said, Clemson was a huge favorite against NC State and yet the Wolfpack nearly pulled off the upset.

However, Jackson and company are too good offensively for the Wolfpack to keep up.
