Nebraska isn't leaving the Big Ten.
Nebraska joined the Big Ten in 2011, leaving the Big 12, and that's where the Huskers will be for the foreseeable future. This isn't really news. The academic, athletic and (most importantly) financial prominence of the conference makes it - by far - the best place for Nebraska to be.
There have been some recent rumors/reports/whatever surfacing on Twitter in recent days, claiming that the Huskers might have interest in going back to the Big 12.
That thought was basically squashed on Twitter today by Nebraska's athletic director, Shawn Eichorst.
That settles that.
