The 2018 college football season could not have started any worse for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. After starting the season with five-straight losses, Nebraska looked to be in control against Northwestern, but failed in the final minutes and moved to 0-6 on the year.
Then something changed. Since that loss to Northwestern, the Huskers have been a completely different team - winning four of their last five games, including a narrow loss to Ohio State.
Nebraska took down a tough Michigan State team on Saturday afternoon to move to 4-7 on the year.
College football analyst Mark May took notice. He thinks the Huskers are going to be dangerous next year.
It didn't take long for Scott Frost to turn UCF from a winless program into an undefeated one. Nebraska fans everywhere have to be happy with the state of the program over the past five weeks.
The Huskers should be setting lofty goals for 2019.
