Nebraska football begins the Scott Frost Era this Saturday. The loyal Husker fans have been waiting for this day for a while.

Frost was a star quarterback at Nebraska in the 1990s, and many Husker faithful are hoping he returns them to the glory days. However, he also wants to put his own stamp on the program.

Frost has made a slight change to Nebraska's iconic helmet in time for his first season. It is pretty cool.

Each player will wear his area code on the face mask bumper of his helmet.

Personally, I like this. It personalizes the helmet, but it doesn't change what is traditionally one of the best lids in college football.

What say you, Husker fans?

Frost and the Huskers will open up with a non-conference game against Akron on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
