Nebraska's latest scholarship offer is to the son of an NFL legend. The Huskers have made an offer to Shilo Sanders, the son of Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders.

Like his father, Shilo is a cornerback. The 6-foot, 180-pound prospect is ranked a three-star recruit and the No. 43 overall CB in the class by 247Sports.

Shilo also holds scholarship offers from UCF, Oregon and Texas A&M, among other programs.

The Texas native was grateful of his offer from the Huskers.

“Nebraska’s a good program,” Sanders told Land of 10. “I definitely appreciate an offer from them.”

Shilo is a class of 2019 prospect, so there's still a long way to go with his recruitment. If he ends up being even 25 percent the player his father was, someone is going to get a steal.

The son of the NFL Hall of Famer announced the news of his Nebraska offer in a tweet. You can view it below.
