New College Football Preseason Top 25 Released

It's preseason top 25 season again. College football spring games have wrapped up. Outlets are updating their preseason polls.

USA TODAY has opted to release a new one. It doesn't feature a change at the top.

Clemson, the previous preseason No. 1, has remained on top. "It’s a return trip to the College Football Playoff or bust for Dabo Swinney and Clemson, and the argument is there for the Tigers as the top team in the country entering the summer," USA TODAY writes.

There's certainly a lot to like about the Tigers. Their defensive line will be loaded with NFL talent and the quarterback position could be led by the No. 1 QB in the 2018 class in Trevor Lawrence.

Alabama, of course, trails Clemson. The Crimson Tide come in at No. 2.

There's somewhat of a surprise at No. 3...
