Nebraska was without freshman quarterback Adrian Martinez against Troy on Saturday and it showed. The Huskers lost their second game of the season, dropping to 0-2 on the year. Nebraska started walk-on Andrew Bunch in his place.

Martinez, who suffered a knee injury in the season opener against Colorado, appears to be on track to play this weekend.

The Huskers had the freshman quarterback at practice today.

Martinez played extremely well in the Week 1 game against Colorado, throwing for nearly 200 yards and rushing for more than 100 yards, before he got hurt.

Nebraska has a big game this weekend, traveling to Ann Arbor to face Michigan.
