NFL Announces That A Record 30 Players Will Attend Draft In New York City

The 2014 NFL Draft is as late as it has ever been and there will be a record number of hopeful draftees in attendance in New York City. The draft, which starts on Thursday, May 8, will be attended by a record 30 players, the NFL announced Tuesday.

Among those that will be in New York May 8 are:

  • Four quarterbacks (Johnny Manziel, Blake Bortles, Teddy Bridgewater, Jimmy Garoppolo)
  • Seven wide receivers
  • One tight end
  • Five defensive backs
  • Five offensive linemen
  • Four defensive linemen
  • Six defensive backs
  • Three linebackers
  • Zero running backs
