NFL Draft Analyst Mel Kiper Jr. "Loves" Denver's Drew Lock Pick

Mel Kiper gives NFL Draft analysis on ESPN.

On Friday night, the second and third rounds of the 2019 NFL draft wrapped up without too much surprise. The biggest move of the night came when the Arizona Cardinals shipped last year's No. 10 overall pick, Josh Rosen, to the Miami Dolphins for a third-round pick.

Another significant move came in the top half of the second round.

The Denver Broncos - who held the No. 41 pick - traded up to the No. 42 slot with the Cincinnati Bengals.

After selecting offensive lineman Dalton Risner at No. 41, John Elway found his quarterback of the future at No. 42.

Former Missouri star Drew Lock entered the draft as a potential top-10 pick in the draft. However, after falling out of the first round, Lock found the perfect landing spot in the Denver Broncos.

ESPN NFL draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. is in "love" with the pick.

"Denver trades up to get quarterback Drew Lock at No. 42. I love the pick. Lock has the best arm in the class, though he has inconsistent accuracy. And Joe Flacco is on notice for the second straight year," Kiper said on Twitter.

Flacco was chased out of Baltimore when Lamar Jackson took over as the starter.

Now he'll have to compete with one of the draft's biggest arms.
