Nick Saban Considers LSU An "Arguably" Undefeated Team

Alabama head coach Nick Saban says he considers LSU to be an undefeated team.

After starting the season 2-2, LSU has not lost a game under interim head coach Ed Orgeron. LSU fired Les Miles after the Tigers' 2-2 start, and they have not lost a game since then. Nick Saban said he believes the LSU team the Crimson Tide are playing this weekend is undefeated.

In the three games since Les Miles' departure, the Tigers are 3-0 with impressive wins over Missouri (42-7), Southern Miss (45-10), and then No. 23 Ole Miss (38-21). The offense has exploded since Orgeron took over as head coach. LSU averaged 21 points per game with Les Miles in charge, but is averaging over 41 points per game under Ed Orgeron.

No. 1 Alabama travels to No. 15 LSU in a matchup of top SEC teams. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. E.T. from Death Valley (a.k.a. Tiger Stadium). The Crimson Tide look to remain undefeated on the season, but Orgeron also plans to leave the game undefeated when in control of the Tigers.
