According To Tom Arnold, Nick Saban Had "Interest" In New York Giants Job

Nick Saban addresses the media with a bottle of coke.

Alabama remains No. 1.

Comedian Tom Arnold says Nick Saban expressed interest in the New York Giants head coaching job this past offseason.

After every college football season, there are rumors that Alabama head coach Nick Saban is going to leave Tuscaloosa - either for another top program or for an NFL franchise. According to comedian Tom Arnold, after the 2015 campaign, there might have been some truth to it all.

Arnold joined Paul Finebaum on ESPN Friday and told listeners that Saban "expressed interest" in the New York Giants job just hours before the franchise hired Ben McAdoo.

Obviously, we need to consider the source. Arnold, however, doubled down on Twitter.

Arnold says he is friends with Giants chairman Steve Tisch - hence his information. We can't wait until some unfortunate soul asks Saban about it.
