Classic Saban.

You can bet most of Alabama's players, coaches and fans were glued to their television sets to see the unveiling of the final College Football Playoff rankings earlier today.

Nick Saban was not.

Saban told ESPN he was with a recruit when the announcement went down, and found out Alabama made the four-team field after he re-entered the team's facility.

'Crootin never stops, especially when you are Nick Saban.

The Crimson Tide beat out Ohio State for the final spot in the bracket. They will face No. 1 Clemson in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 1.
