Once again, the Alabama Crimson Tide cruised to another win last weekend, defeating Arkansas in blowout fashion. However, sophomore sensation Tua Tagovailoa suffered an injury in the process.
Despite having just 13 pass attempts, Tagovailoa threw for 334 yards and four touchdowns. Well, Alabama will need a similar effort against Missouri this Saturday, especially considering Drew Lock’s ability to score points in a hurry for the Tigers.
Unfortunately, Tagovailoa is currently nursing a sprained knee, which could possibly limit his production.
Nonetheless, Nick Saban gave an update for his dynamic quarterback, and it sounds pretty encouraging. According to the Crimson Tide head coach, Tagovailoa took every rep he was supposed to in practice.
Saban: "Tua's taken every rep in practice. He does have a sprained knee."
"Lester Cotton sprained his ankle. It's a mild ankle sprain."

In the event that Tagovailoa struggles because of his injury, Alabama could use Jalen Hurts under center.
Even though Saban has options at quarterback, Tagovailoa should be ready for Saturday’s showdown.
Missouri and Alabama will kick off at 7:00 p.m. ET from Bryant-Denny Stadium. It’ll be worth monitoring Tagovailoa’s ability to make plays outside of the pocket.
