Northwestern’s football program sent a teasing message to Ohio State ahead of Friday night’s Big Ten showdown. It’s pretty, pretty good.
The Wildcats will be hosting the Buckeyes at Ryan Field in Evanston, Ill. on Friday evening. The contest is seen as a potential trap game for the undefeated Ohio State program.
Northwestern will have to slow down the speedy Buckeyes’ offense, which has dominated basically every opponent they’ve seen.
It looks like Ryan Field will try to help with that.
Northwestern sent out the following tweet:

Of course, the grass at Ryan Field isn’t actually nine inches long (we think, anyway). Still, the turf in Evanston is known for being maybe an inch or two longer than others, which can at times be a factor against speedy offenses.
Ohio State and Northwestern are set to kick off at 8:30 p.m. E.T. on Friday.
The game will be on BTN.
