The elite dual-threat quarterback took a visit to Alabama.
Emory Jones, a four-star quarterback in the 2018 class, has been committed to Ohio State since last July.
Recently, though, the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback took a visit to Alabama.
He spoke with 247Sports following the visit and said he remains "firmly" committed to Urban Meyer's program, but he had good things to say about Nick Saban's team, too.
“I’m firmly committed right now,” Jones told 247Sports. “I’m solid to Ohio State. I think I’m real strong with them right now.”
Jones said if he ends up at Alabama, he thinks he could have some big success there.
“I talked to Coach Saban and the new offensive coordinator, quarterbacks coach,” Jones said. “They were just saying they want me to get back up there and get more comfortable with the new coaches there and just get more comfortable with the place.
“I do think I could be successful there and I’ll probably look into Alabama.”
Alabama isn't the only program trying to flip Jones from Ohio State. Florida and Florida State are trying to get involved in his recruitment, too.
But for now, it looks like the Buckeyes remain in good position to land the Franklin, Ga. product.
