Ohio State Adds New Seat To Ohio Stadium, Honors American Soldiers

Ohio State has added a new seat to Ohio Stadium before the 2016 season.

Urban Meyer announced on Twitter today that the Buckeyes have added a special seat to Ohio Stadium. The seat honors the United States' armed forces.

The plaque in front of the seat reads:

"Since World War 1, more than 92,000 American soldiers are unaccounted for. This unoccupied seat is dedicated to the memory of these brave men and women and to the sacrifices each made in serving this country. God Bless You. God Bless America."

Meyer says he's "proud" to have this addition to his stadium.

Ohio State opens its season on Saturday against Bowling Green. The game is set to kick off at noon on BTN.
