Ohio State Fan Surprises Penn State Fan With Kidney Donation

Lindsay Wenrich surprises Penn State fan with signs.

Ohio State and Penn State have developed quite a rivalry over the past few years. The Buckeyes have gotten the better of the Nittany Lions the past two times, though both games have been decided by a total of two points.

Despite the budding rivalry, one Ohio State fan went out of her way to help a Penn State fan in a life-changing way. Lindsay Arnold Wenrich, an Ohio State alum, surprised George Labecki by announcing the two were a match for a kidney transplant.

According to Penn Live, Labecki has had kidney issues for much of his life, but things took a turn for worse in 2017. He was a former teacher at Cedar Cliff, where Wenrich eventually went to school - and on to Ohio State.

Just wait until you learn HOW she told Labecki about the news.

Wenrich dressed up as the Nittany Lion with signs that read, "We Are...happy to tell you that...We Are...A match." Video of the moment is enough to bring tears to your eyes.

What an incredible moment for both.

Penn Live reported the transplant is set to take place next week.
