The Buckeyes' quarterback tweeted a pretty cool picture.
Ohio State's quarterback competition is going to be fascinating to watch this spring and summer. The Buckeyes will have three capable QBs going for the job.
The candidates: Dwyane Haskins, Joe Burrow and Tate Martell. All three have reason to think they're going to win the job.
Haskins was the backup last year and played really well. Burrow was the backup in 2016. Martell was an extremely-coveted recruit.
Urban Meyer will have a really tough decision to make. He's not saying much about it right now.
Ohio State's head coach said he "didn't know" if anyone was the leader going into the spring. Most would assume that it would be Haskins, but Meyer isn't saying that.
The quarterback that might be the most-fun to watch is probably Martell. The dual-threat QB was an electric player at the high school level and possesses both a lot of speed and a strong arm.
It looks like Martell expects to win the job, too. He tweeted the following on Monday night:
Martell handing the ball off to Heisman Trophy candidate J.K. Dobbins might be something that happens a ton next fall. We'll see...
