Here's what position he'll play and the number he'll be wearing.
Brendon White was a four-star recruit in Ohio State's 2017 class out of Powell, Ohio.
The 6-foot-1, 200-pound prospect was listed as an athlete, but many in the recruiting world projected him to be a safety at the next level. It appears he'll be playing a different position for the Buckeyes, though.
White revealed his jersey number - and, thereby, his position - on Twitter this evening.
Ohio State could use some depth at the wide receiver position. The Buckeyes struggled to produce explosive plays through the passing game in 2016 and Urban Meyer has said improving that area of the offense is vital heading into the 2017 season. White can certainly help that happen.
The Buckeyes are set to open their '17 season on Thursday, Aug. 31 against Indiana in Bloomington. OSU is expected to start the year ranked inside the top 10. OSU's spring game is April 15.
