This is something that has plagued the Buckeyes in previous big-game losses.
In almost every big-game loss for Urban Meyer at Ohio State, the Buckeyes have failed to do one thing.
Give the ball to its running backs.
It seems to be happening again today.
In the first quarter against Michigan – the Buckeyes’ worst first quarter yardage-wise under Meyer – Ohio State’s running backs got just one carry. J.K. Dobbins had one rush for three yards. Mike Weber didn’t even touch the ball.
This is going to have to change if Ohio State is going to come back and win. The Buckeyes currently trail, 14-0. The game is on FOX.
