College football's game of the day is taking place in State College, Pa.
Penn State is hosting Ohio State at Beaver Stadium in what could be a College Football Playoff elimination game. Of course, it's possible that a one-loss Buckeyes or Nittany Lions team could make it, but the loser of this game will essentially fall two games back in the Big Ten East Division race due to tiebreaker standings.
So, it's a big one.
Who's going to win it? ESPN's Paul Finebaum has made his pick.
The ESPN college football analyst previewed the game on SportsCenter this morning.
"If Ohio State loses they will view them far more favorably because this is a road game,” Finebaum said. “This is a very difficult environment. You’ll hear it all morning on GameDay and you’ll hear it all night. It’s hard to find a tougher place to play than at night at Happy Valley. If Penn State loses, they will not be in as good as shape. They’ll have to run the table and obviously hope they win the Big Ten Championship.
"Ohio State is definitely the beneficiary today if that happens.”
Who's Finebaum taking?
"The headline (for Sunday will be) Ohio State escapes Penn State in the most significant victory of this young season," Finebaum said.
Who are you taking?
Ohio State and Penn State are set to kick off at 8 p.m. E.T. The game will be on ABC.
