Ohio State fell to Penn State, but did the referees miss a pass interference call in crunch time?
No. 2 Ohio State fell to Penn State on the road on Saturday night, but as the Buckeyes were trying to piece together a game winning/game tying drive, the referees may have missed a pass interference call on Penn State.
Here is the video:
Penn State defensive back Jordan Smith clearly grabs the arm/jersey of Ohio State wideout James Clark, but there was no flag thrown. Even LeBron James was mad about the call. The no-call led to a 3rd-and-10 situation for the Buckeyes. OSU quarterback J.T. Barrett was sacked on the final two plays of the possession.
Penn State pulled off the upset over the Buckeyes by the score of 24-21.
