Ohio vs. Troy preview:
The Bobcats, in their final game of the regular season, brought Western Michigan to the brink and almost pulled off the upset, but ultimately came up short 29-23. They're a defensive-minded team, and it'll be an interesting match-up as they take on the explosive Troy offense. The Bobcats boast a punishing defensive line, complete with Tarell Basham—an absolutely beast.
Troy rattled off a seven game win streak after losing by just six points to Clemson, and with that the Trojans received their first AP Top 25 rankings ever. It didn't last long though, the following week the Trojans lost by 32 to Arkansas State. Still, the season has been quite successful. Troy led the Sun Belt conference in yards per game with 438.6, and the Trojans will look to bulldoze their way to a bowl game victory with a talented offensive line.
Ohio vs. Troy prediction:
The combination of Troy's offense and Ohio's defense will make for an incredibly entertaining game, but in the end I'm going with the Trojans. The offense will inevitably be too much for the Bobcats to handle, and the Trojans have shown they can compete on the big stage after their bout with Clemson.
