Oklahoma unveiled its 2016 Big 12 title rings this weekend.
The Oklahoma Sooners didn't achieve their ultimate goal of winning a national championship this past season, but there's no doubt that the program had a successful campaign. OU despite starting the season off with a 1-2 record, finished with nine straight Big 12 wins and a Sugar Bowl title over Auburn.
This weekend, the Sooners celebrated their accomplishments in style, unveiling their title rings. They're one of the most beautiful pieces of hardware we've ever seen.
The front, obviously, has a ton of ice. It reads "Back To Back Champions" on the borders.
Via Du'Vonta Lampkin's Instagram account, you can see that one side features the player's name. The other notes the undefeated mark in the Big 12. Check it out:
Oklahoma will once again be a national title contender in 2017 - assuming quarterback Baker Mayfield, who is in a bit of legal trouble, is eligible to suit up for the squad.
