Here's why Hugh Freeze forced out.
In case you missed it, Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze resigned Thursday night.
After a five-year run with the Rebels, Freeze stepped down after an investigation began into his phone records stemming from a lawsuit filed by former head coach Houston Nutt.
Athletic director Ross Bjork held a press conference to address Freeze's resignation, and his investigation into the longtime Ole Miss head coach.
After his statements, Bjork was asked about the connection to a female escort service, which Hugh Freeze reportedly called from a school-issued phone. He declined to address the misconduct that led to Freeze's resignation.
Another huge part of the resignation is that Freeze won't receive a buyout due to "moral turpitude." This means that the school had just cause in removing Freeze from the University.
As the story develops, we're sure more will be unveiled about Freeze's reported misconduct, and a concrete answer will be reported in the near future.
