Another SEC program has hired a head coach.

Ole Miss has removed the interim tag from Matt Luke and tabbed him to lead the program on an official basis.

The Rebels made the announcement moments ago.

Luke took over for Hugh Freeze and led the Rebels to a 6-6 season in the midst of an NCAA investigation and a self-imposed bowl ban.

The 41-year-old Luke was Ole Miss' co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach from 2012-16. He also did a stint in Oxford as an offensive line/tight ends coach from 2002-05.
