Oregon Does Not Have Serious Interest In P.J. Fleck, According To Report

According to a report, Oregon doesn't have serious interest in hiring P.J. Fleck.

Oregon recently fired head coach Mark Helfrich and with that P.J. Fleck's name has been tossed around as a possible replacement.

Ducks fans shouldn't have their fingers crossed to see the Western Michigan head coach land in Eugene however.

According to John Canzano of Oregon Live, Oregon has not interviewed Fleck nor have the Ducks shown much interest:

"Sources on both sides confirmed on Saturday night that Fleck has not interviewed with Oregon. Fleck's camp indicated that he had a banquet to attend on Sunday and then would begin recruiting for Western Michigan. No interview Sunday either. So it doesn't look like the Ducks plan on seeing Fleck until at least Monday, if at all. And by then, this search could be wrapping up.

If I'm reading this right, there's no real interest from Oregon's side. And while that may worry some of you, one person involved with the search said on Saturday night, "I think we are in a pretty good place but still some work to do."
