A former four-star running back announced that he's hitting the transfer market.

Taj Griffin, a senior running back at Oregon, announced on Twitter that he's decided to pursue other options.

The former four-star recruit released the following statement:

"Thankful for all the support and positivity i have recieved from the fan base here, but I’m going to open up other options from here."

Griffin was ranked the No. 1 all-purpose back coming out of high school in 2014. The 5-foot-10 running back is a Georgia native.

Oregon fell to Stanford in Saturday night in overtime.
