Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes has revealed his early pick for college football's 2019 Heisman Trophy award.

Mahomes, the MVP of the 2018 NFL season, is loving Wisconsin star running back Jonathan Taylor.

The Badgers' star tailback had 16 carries for 135 yards and two touchdowns in the blowout win over South Florida on Friday night. Taylor added two catches for 48 yards and two touchdowns.

Mahomes was impressed.

The star NFL quarterback took to Twitter during the game.

"Jonathan Taylor for Heisman!" he wrote.

It's ridiculously early, of course, but Taylor could be among the serious contenders for the Heisman Trophy award if he keeps this up.

Clemson's Trevor Lawrence, Alabama's Tua Tagovailoa and Nebraska's Adrian Martinez are among the other top contenders.
