Paul Finebaum Adds 3 Names To Tennessee's Potential Coaching Search

Paul Finebaum has added some names to the "Tennessee's potential next coach" list.

The ESPN college football analyst said on Tuesday's show that he doesn't believe Jon Gruden or Chip Kelly are realistic candidates.

I agree.

Finebaum, though, did mention a couple of fairly big-name coaches who could be realistic. One is currently an SEC head coach.

"When you start looking at names, you have to look at a successful head coach or trending that way. Like a Justin Fuente. In 2021, Tennesee, went after Mike Gundy and Charlie Strong, will they go back?" he said.

"Another person with a really strong track record as a head coach is Dan Mullen. I believe there's a small pocket of Tennessee boosters who have been pushing Dan Mullen's name," he added.

Mullen, 45, is 65-44 as Mississippi State's head coach. Would he be willing to leave the Bulldogs' program for Tennessee?

It'll be interesting to watch.
